Headquartered in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, an industrial city in northeastern China, Brilliance Auto Group is a major independent brand in China’s auto industry, as well as China’s first automaker listed abroad! Currently Brilliance Auto Group have four listed companies: Huachen China, Jinbei, Shanghai Shenhua and XCE, as well as over 100 wholly-owned, holding and joint-stock companies, with a registered capital of 800 million yuan, over 49,000 employees and total assets of over 110 billion yuan. Brilliance Auto Group sold a total of 5.318 million vehicles from 2006 to 2015. In 2015, we achieved vehicle sales of 856,000 units and engine sales of 1.166 million units.

House of Brands

Currently Brilliance Auto Group have four auto brands: Brilliance, Huasong, Zhonghua and Jinbei. In terms of business sectors, Brilliance Auto Group are mainly engaged in the R & D, design, manufacturing, sales and after-sales operations of vehicles, engines and core parts, with due consideration to other industries such as new energy. Brilliance Auto Group have completed effective capital accumulation under the strategy of being mainly engaged in automobile and supported by other industries, thus becoming the most competitive and promising automaker in China. In 2015, Brilliance Auto ranked 103rd among ‘China Top 500 Enterprises’ and 36th among ‘China Top 500 Manufacturers’.

Production Strength

By 2015, Brilliance Auto Group had established the southern and northern production and sales bases, six vehicle manufacturers, four engine manufacturers and several parts manufacturers in China, won 949 patents, created 17 vehicle platforms and 12 engine platforms covering buses, cars and trucks, developed the capabilities of vehicle modeling and design, prototype manufacturing, matching development, and design and development of engines and core automotive parts, and covered a wide range of fields such as passenger vehicle and commercial vehicle.

Global Strategy

Brilliance Auto target the international high-end market, implement the strategy of differential export, have exported products to over 80 countries and regions in the world, and exported 81,000 vehicles in 2015. While ensuring the continuous growth of vehicle export, Brilliance Auto Group have gradually shifted our export model to multiple business models such as KD assembly and investment cooperation (product/technology export), thus creating a new diversified overseas business pattern. By 2015, Brilliance Auto had established six manufacturing bases in countries such as Iran, Egypt, Russia, Malaysia and the Philippines.
