GOLDEN DRAGON VEHICLE WARRANTY POLICY
WHAT THIS WARRANTY OFFERS

Handal BCM warrants that your new Golden Dragon vehicle is free from defects in materials or workmanship, subject to the following terms and conditions.

An authorized dealer will make necessary repairs, using new or remanufactured parts, to correct any defect covered by this warranty without charges to you.

Please be informed that the new vehicle warranty of 60 months or 150,000 km (whichever comes first) will only be applicable if the engine’s scheduled maintenance is performed at the periodic interval of every 10,000 km and by the authorized service dealers during the above-mentioned period/mileage.

WARRANTY APPLICATION

This warranty is applicable to Golden Dragon vehicles registered and normally operated in the country of purchase.

During the warranty period, this warranty is transferable to subsequent owners.

  1. Mail the OWNER INFORMATION CHANGE CARD to your Handal BCM Dealer/Distributor.
WARRANTY PERIOD

The Golden Dragon vehicle warranty starts from the earlier date of either retail delivery or the first use of the vehicle.

  1. Main Assembly (Engine Assembly, Transmission/Gearbox, Front Axle, and Rear Axle): Covered for 60 months (5 years) or 150,000 km, whichever comes first.
  2. Vehicle Components (Chassis, Electronic Parts, etc.): Covered for 60 months (5 years) or 150,000 km, whichever comes first.

Exceptions:

  1. Air Conditioner Refrigerant Charge: Covered for 12 months or 20,000 km, whichever comes first (unless replenished as part of a warranty repair).
  2. Audio System: Covered for 18 months or 100,000km whichever comes first.
  3. Auxiliary Battery: Covered for 6 months or 10,000 km, whichever comes first.
  4. Accessories: Covered for 24 months or 50,000 km, whichever comes first.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
  1. Damage or Corrosion Due to Misuse, Accident, or Alterations
    1. Misuse of the vehicle (e.g., driving over curbs, overloading, racing).
    2. Accidents (e.g., collision, fire, theft, riot).
    3. Alteration, modification, or tampering.
    4. Repairs performed or replacement parts installed by any person other than an authorized BCM dealer.
    5. Use of replacement parts or accessories not conforming to Golden Dragon specifications.

     

  2. Damage or Surface Corrosion from the Environment
    1. Caused by acid rain, airborne fallout (chemicals, tree sap, etc.), stones, salt, road hazards, hail, wind storms, lightning, floods, and other acts of God.

     

  3. Damage Due to Lack of Maintenance or Use of Incorrect Fuel, Oil, or Lubricants
    1. Lack of proper maintenance as described in the owner’s manual.
    2. Use of fuels, oils, or lubricants not specified in the owner’s manual.

     

  4. Normal Deterioration
    1. Normal noise, wear, and tear or deterioration (e.g., discoloration, fading, deformation).
    2. Surface corrosion on any part other than the body sheet metal panels forming the exterior appearance of a Golden Dragon vehicle.

     

  5. MAINTENANCE COSTS
    1. Normal maintenance services (e.g., cleaning, polishing, lubrication, oil/fluid replacement, wiper blades, drive belts, brake pads, and clutch linings).
    2. Maintenance services described as “MAINTENANCE” or “APPEARANCE CARE” in the owner’s manual.

     

  6. ALTERED ODOMETER
    1. Repairs on vehicles where the odometer has been altered or where the actual mileage cannot be determined.

     

  7. EXTRA EXPENSES AND DAMAGES
    1. Any economic loss, including (but not limited to) the following:
      1. Loss of use of the vehicle.
      2. Towing, lodging, car rentals, travel costs, or loss of pay.
      3. Other expenses or damages.

     

  8. COMPONENTS COVERED BY SEPARATE WARRANTY
    1. Tires: Covered under their respective manufacturers’ warranty.
    2. Golden Dragon genuine replacement parts installed by an authorized Handal BCM dealer are warranted separately.
OWNER'S RESPONSIBILITIES

You are responsible for operating and maintaining your Golden Dragon vehicle according to the instructions in the owner’s manual.

  1. Retain evidence of proper maintenance for warranty protection.
  2. Keep all receipts and ensure the “Schedule Maintenance Record” in the booklet is filled in during scheduled maintenance.
  3. Perform more frequent maintenance under severe operating conditions (e.g., dusty environments, extreme temperatures).
TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE
  1. Drive or deliver your vehicle, along with this booklet, to any authorized dealer during normal service hours.
    1. While any authorized dealer can perform warranty service, it is recommended to return to the dealer where you purchased your vehicle for continued support.
OTHER TERMS
  1. All implied warranties are limited to the duration of this warranty.
  2. This warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties (except those set forth separately in this booklet).
  3. Handal BCM or its distributor shall not be liable for incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages.
DISCLAIMER

In the event of any inconsistencies or ambiguities in printed materials, the warranty policy as published on our official website shall prevail.
